Admin Cleaning With Face Masks (A Chris-ism)

August 21st, 2006 by Admin

The last few months Emily has been getting worried about the chemicals that the kids breathe in when they clean the bathroom, so she has been looking around for more friendly ways for them to clean. She found this kid friendly cleaner, and it works good, too, by the way. She buys it in bulk and then puts it in separate spray bottles for each of the bathrooms.

Chris didn't like the smell of it, and it really isn't that bad to be honest. He asked Emily if he could put a mask on while he was cleaning the bathroom. She thought, "why not?" Since the whole point of this new cleaner is to be healthier, what's better than a face mask to block some more of the chemicals out?

So, as he was cleaning his bathroom, I went to check and make sure they were doing it right, and these pictures are what I saw. The first two I got and he didn't notice, but the one that he is looking at me, obviously was a pose. Anyhow, even without words, I think this is a classic "Chris-ism". Enjoy.

That's the best thing I've seen all day!!
I should have thought of a mask…maybe my daughter would have been more "helpful" at that age. lol Probably not.

What a sweet child, cleaning so his Mom and Dad won't have to do it. You guys are really training your children right!

CJ, that face mask looks like a Darth Vader one or am I imagining it?!Keep up the good work Chris!

  5. CJ says:

Donna, that was a Darth Vader mask. Not what we were thinking about when he wanted a mask.

CJ, I'm starting to feel a little sorry for your wife! It seems the boy has most likely inherited your personality:)

My question is "Are they for hire?" I know where they could make a few bucks, although transportation to and from might be a tad problematic ;)

Good parenting is a joy to see!

I can now personally say that Chris is actually quite adorable, as are the girls!!! And Emily does indeed have her hands full!! But the kids are great and CJ and Emily are really great parents!!

First reaction: *blink, blink* a boy cleaning the toilet? How do you manage that? In 20 years, my boy hasn't done anything near the toilet except use it for the purpose intended, unless you count the time when he was about 4 when I caught him using tampons as rocket launchers. LOL!

  13. CJ says:

Tampons as rocket launchers!! NOW THAT'S FUNNY!!

Those are great pictures! I found your blog entry because I was googleing a cleaning the bathroom picture for a blog entry that I was writing.

I'm curious, what is the name of the cleaner? My kids (11 and 8) clean our bathrooms and I'd like to have a kid friendly cleaner for them to use.

    Thanks!
