Patriot It's Called Subversion

Why can't the Army just call a duck – a duck, instead of continuing to call it a chicken:

Army prosecutors add one charge against Fort Lewis war objector

FORT LEWIS, Wash. The Army has added another allegation of conduct unbecoming an officer to the charges pending against Lieutenant Ehren Watada, the Iraq war objector based at Fort Lewis.
Watada refused to deploy to Iraq in June with his unit because he believes the war is illegal. He is accused of missing troop movement, conduct unbecoming an officer and contempt toward officials, including using "contemptuous words" against President Bush in media interviews.

Last month, an investigating officer recommended that Watada be court-martialed. The base commander has not yet made a decision on that.

The new charge is based on Watada's remarks to the national convention of Veterans for Peace, held in Seattle last month. Watada reportedly told the gathering that (quote) "to stop an illegal and unjust war, soldiers can choose to stop fighting it."

Army spokesman Joe Piek says conviction on all charges could bring a maximum of seven years in prison.

Convict the guy on all charges, court martial him and get it over with! They need to quit giving this guy media time!

  2. Chad says:

Duck? I have another word that is close to that I would like to call him.

    Dork.
