Bin Laden is French Sniper's Scope?
December 19th, 2006 by Marcus
Allah at Hot Air is skeptical of the French soldier's claims as he should be. I highly doubt it would take hours for word to pass that OBL was in someone's scope.
“In 2003 and 2004 we had bin Laden in our sights. The sniper said ‘I have bin Laden’, an anonymous French soldier is quoted as saying…
Razavi said the soldier told them it took roughly two hours for the request to reach the U.S. officers who could authorize it but the anonymous man is also quoted in the documentary as saying: “There was a hesitation in command.
The spokesman for the French military calls the soldier's bluff.
French armed forces spokesman Christophe Prazuck said “that never happened when asked about the bin Laden sightings.
Allah quickly mentions the capture of a Pakistani intel officer with ties to bin Laden himself. More on that shortly.

Wish they had got UBL but then I guess the French soldier wasn't telling the truth!
They never are Donna! I maybe partly french and I truly appreciatte the foreign legion, but whatever. This French soldier has his own officer and whoever that is, he or she is not American. Besides the french operate in the oppositte side of Afghanistan from the mountains where UBL was said to be hiding. Not only that Usama isn't just America's problem, he is in fact the world's problem like all other terror organizations like al qeada so the french don't need American personel to authorize when they shoot a target. Also why would a country who may not be our enemy, but has a staunch opposition to the American perspective of the global war on terror and is a military superpower, and a major economic bargaining chip player who happens to be the world's largest arms bearer(yes, bigger than America and China combined) hold back from trying to make America look like they're stalling from getting Osama Bin Laden. I mean not to be personal and I do love the French becasue I am partly French threw my lovely family whose from Quebec, but noone has to think hard to find out what agenda this particular soldier has. I praise his French officer who is being honest.
Man I am impressed. I'm an avid hunter, and there's no way I could keep a deer in my scope while busy running as fast I can in the opposite direction. Those French soldiers are disciplined I tells ya!
