Fort Dix Targeted by Terrorists

Six men from New Jersey were planning to kill as many Soldiers as possible stationed at Fort Dix. The men watched Jihadi videos by Osama bin Laden who urged them to become martyrs in the United States.
And guess what? They are in this country ILLEGALLY!! And all are, ahem, Muslim. Now you tell me if we're at war with Islam or is Islam at war with us? And it was reportedly programs like the so-called "domestic surveillance" program that assisted in catching these guys.
According to the FBI affidavit, which is up over at The Smoking Gun, "an individual had brought a video to [a retail video store] to be duplicated into a digital video disk (DVD). That DVD depicted…10 young men who appeared to be in their early twenties shooting assault weapons at a firing range…while calling for jihad and shouting in Arabic 'Allah Akbar.'"
You would think that this would be a wake up call to those who are so against the job our troops are doing, but somehow I doubt it.

A couple of hours I mentioned the story from Drudge over at OW (Olbermann Watch for May 7). Someone named Cee made some great comments in response to the rantings of those saying our Constitution has been eroded. One of the usual spewmeisters ignored the comment and soon left. I haven't had a chance to follow the headlines but I wonder what kind of coverage/spin it will get? In my experience at OW, it takes awhile sometimes for the spin. They have to figure out a way to somehow put Bush at fault.
I'm so glad that they caught these guys! I wonder how many more cells there are in the U.S. that we don't know about. I'm just glad that the Patriot Act was voted back in so that they can use it to catch these guys.
Oh yeah, the case for illegal immigration should be looked at too!
Those who say that we should accept refugees from Iraq should pay careful attention to this story. Three of the men were refugees from Bosnia, and yet they were still lowlife enough to attack the country that invited them in with open arms, and gave them freedom and security like they would have no where else in the world. The refugees from Iraq would be of a far different nature than those from Vietnam in the 70s.
