Patriot Open Letter To Dingy Harry

June 16th, 2007 by Patriot

Anti-Mullah has a great open letter up for Senator Dingy Harry Reid:

Senator Harry Reid
528 Hart Senate Office Building
Washington DC 20510

Senator Reid

You are truly a shallow and petty human being.

You have accused two honorable men of incompetence in order to pander to your voting constituents.

I am not aware of any information available that would substantiate your claim to your supporters that Gen. Pace and Gen. Petraeus are “incompetent”. Instead, their records demonstrate that they are well qualified to lead our military. Unfortunately, military regulations prohibit them from publicly criticizing you. However, I am not going to stand by while you slander these honorable men.

These two men have dedicated their lives to service to their country. They have spent their adult lives in uniform defending this great nation. They are not pay-for-play politicians like yourself. Nor are they armchair generals like yourself.

They have actually served on the front lines, and Gen. Petraeus is there now.

They have had to make the one call that is hardest for any commander, to commit troops to war to dutifully execute the orders of the Commander-in-Chief to the best of their abilities.

They have dealt with losses over many years, both in combat and training, war and peace, and they know the cost of those decisions for the troops and their families. They also know the price of indecision and bloviating for which your Senate (you are the majority leader, so it falls on your head for their performance) is famous.

They do not have the luxury of sitting back and throwing stones, but never offering an alternative (like you and your anti-soldier crowd do every day).

You can't miss the rest of this letter.

Lots of other good articles on http://www.AntiMullah.com, too, including a quick Daily Terror news briefs page. Subject and link for quick browsing, only read an article if interested.

    Lengthier articles on NEWS VIEWS.

    cheers,
    Alan

Dlingey Harry is a disgrace to the U.S. Senate, and should be censured by that body for his treasonous statements.

  3. CriticalFacts says:

The one true "incompetent" in this whole mess is the Democratic Party – not George Bush – the best president ever! How this war is being fought is not so much the issue, but that this war was fought at all is truely mind-boggling. Of course, I never understood Candyland either.

George Bush – please run for a third term!

I am so tired of this pathetic little man running his suck, Mr Reid do you think you have it in your spineless little mind to do us all a little favor and have another stroke, but do it right this time and make it a major one!!!

  5. Patriot says:

The only stroke we should really be wishing on Reid is a stroke of bad luck at his next campaign. I understand your frustration, Reverend, but let's not sink to the lefts lows.

  6. CriticalFacts says:

Reid is only expressing the collective dismay of the American public over the prosecution of the war in Iraq, a war whose genesis is based largely on gross misrepresentations of fact. Wishing Harry Reid harm – physically or politically – will solve nothing.

  7. Flag Gazer says:

I don't wish him harm, though if a meteor fell on his head, I wouldn't be in mourning. I do wish him DEFEAT at the ballot box. I do wish him prosecution for his massive ethics violations. And, I wish him a LONG case of laringitis.

"Collective dispay of the American public" – well, I am part of the American public and my dismay is at your vacuous comment and Harry Reids bathering. Neither you, nor he, speak for me.

  8. the_right_reverend says:

i apologize Patriot, your right the only way we can succeed is to defeat him politically. Reid has over Four Years left on this term, our best means to to defeat Reid is to all become honorary residents of Nevada and support their drive to……….

  9. Patriot says:

Rev, thanks for the link. I know you did not really mean it, but we have feral leftists in here just waiting to jump on comments like that as actual threats. Harry Reid needs to be forgotten. With polling numbers in the teens, he has no room to talk about Bush either.

  10. sue says:

I wish for once a true and accurate poll could be taken for people like CF who haven't a clue what MOST Americans really do think. When you poll only in selected target areas as these polls do and skew the questions so that only answers that support your point of view can be given there is no reality to your poll data. I don't care who is giving or taking it. You go on ASM and talk about the polls all the time and argue the same garbage. It's still garbage. YOU DON"T SPEAK FOR ME. Nor probably most of the people on this blog, or ASM. So, for someone who has a "majority" opinion, I'd say you look mighty lonely slim.

Harry Reid is doing nothing but feeding the enemy Filet Mignon at the expense of our troops. Each of his defeatist statements is just another piece of choice meat to give them more incentive to kill Americans. And people who speak with nothing but Hatred in their hearts CF are doing the same thing. You are offering Aid and Comfort to the enemy. I Agree with Patriot. The likes of Harry Reid should be dealt with at the ballot box. But as long as people behave like morons and keep voting in people like Reid, Kennedy, Kerry, Murtha, Pelosi etc, we are at their mercy.

Rev, what do you say we band together and try shipping massive amounts of a different flavor Kool Aid to those states that need it?? Cause the flavor they are drinkin now ain't doin us a dang bit of good!!!

  11. yankeemom says:

I am so spitting 10 penny nails angry with this type of BS coming out of this Congress!
Speaking in such a way as Harry Reid did while we have troops on the ground is beyond any type of professional and congressional behavior.
Reading the letter made me feel better! I'm surrounded by the CFs of the world here and it gets to me sometimes.

I point you to the photo he has on his webpage at the moment:

  12. Sharm says:

PR stunt because he is getting hammered everywhere. Yeah, that'll work.

  13. Donna says:

Yeah! Shut up Harry Reid and just sit down!! Maybe that would solve the problem!! :)

  14. Terri says:

CF/Sharon/Nephi/Richard… whoever you're pretending to be, YOU DON'T SPEAK FOR ME either. Maybe in your little corner of the world, people feel that way, but in large portions of the Country, which never see the opportunity to participate in these (so called) polls representing America, people are saying just the opposite of you. My suggestion is to speak for yourself and quit trying to pretend that you know what the rest of the Country thinks.

  15. Patriot says:

Reverend, Thanks for the email of this letter, by the way!! You rock, brother.

  16. sealpatriot says:

Totally true, both Pace and Petraeus deserve better respect than this but I don't think anybody who sits in an air conditioned office paid for by taxpayers would know the definition of respect. Maybe because they haven't really earned it and some of them probably will never earn it so long as they live. Besides, did anybody really expect Reid to never turn against Pace or Petraeus even though he had a hand in puting them in charge of military operations in Iraq? He had a hand in being one of the reasons why we sent our troops to Iraq in the first place and now he's against them being there. CF, I know that the American public have a lot to dislike over what's happening to troops serving in Iraq and that is the majority of Americans both left and right, but there are also plenty of Americans who are irritated by what anti-war public figures and that is probably why people like Reid and Pelosi have lower approval ratings than Bush does.

  17. concretebob says:

Reid??? Who's he? I don't wish him harm. but I wouldn't p*** on him if he were on fire.
General Pace, Sir, you are an inspiration to all who understand. I was fortunate enough to be in the company of CJ, Citizen Smash, Andi and a few thousand other friends at the 9/11 Freedom Walk when General Pace spoke. It was humbling.
    Semper Fi Sir. Thank you.

General Petraeus, Sir, I saw and heard you this morning, 17 June, on FoxNews with Chris Wallace. If I had any doubts regarding the effectiveness of your command, they were quashed in the first two minutes of that interview.
    Thank you for your service.
