[BUMP] American Hero Award

[BUMP4] Voting closed today (a little early I think). There is not a loser on that list and the greatest honor I could have was just being included. I'm still no hero, but it's good be among them. While there may only be one "winner" among that list, no one will be a loser that's for sure. My best of luck, happiness and health to all my "competition". I thank all of you who went religiously day after day and voted for your pick, whomever that may have been.

Okay, I wasn't going to mention this here, but I got a few emails asking me to. I was notified today that I am a top ten finalist in the American Hero Award contest. I didn't even know there was a contest until today. I'm no hero, though I have the privilege to work with many who are. The good news is that being a top ten finalist, I've already won $500. The grand prize if I'm selected is $5000. While I don't feel at all worthy, I could help a lot of people with that kind of money. I'm asking you to share the site and ask people to vote whom they think deserves the award. There are a lot of good Soldiers on the list and I feel honored just to be on the same page as them. CJ I am so proud of you. You look so grown up since I have seen you. I remember what you looked like in High School. I am so glad you are you doing what you are doing for the fallen men and women of our Armed Forces. I voted for you!!! Both my grandfathers' where the service and my great uncle Louis died on the beach at Normandy. My other great uncles were in WWII.
