The time has long passed for the United States to exit Iraq. Having been there twice, it is my opinion that we are wasting lives, resources, and time in Iraq. We were sent there based on exaggerations, obfuscations, and misdirections. We remain there based on exaggerations, obfuscations, and misdirections. Semper Fidelis.

David, truthfully, I get a lot of it from the horse's mouth: the Generals in theater, the Pentagon, even directly from the White House. I also talk to the members of the MTT (Mobile Transition Teams) in theater. All this information is fed to me due to the great readers I have. It's nothing I've done to deserve such feeding, but what you have done to make me look good!

CJ, this is good stuff. I wish I had a big enough flag pole to post this on. I would be interested in knowing where you get the facts from, ardent researcher that I am.

FYI, there will be a program on WNYC this afternoon - http://www.wnyc.org/stream/fm.asx on what soldiers on the front lines have on their iPods. Interesting take, I guess.
