Yep, and search as I might I couldn't find a single story of something good that is happening over in Iraq.
And I'm sure they did mentioned that we've gone at least 10 days (as of July 6) without a US combat death in Iraq, right?

The news also didn't report that I haven't robbed a convenience store. But if I did, I'm sure it would be all over the news!
They also didn't cover all of the mothers who didn't drown their kids in a bathtub.

Must have been a slow day, but also on a holiday, which is when alot of the pre-canned, non-authored stuff comes out.

How about a tribute to those who serve?? How about a tribute to the families who also serve because their loved one is over there?? Why is nothing said or done that honors the military for the selfless sacrifices they make so that the ignorant can go on thinking that their freedom doesn't come at a cost.
And telling the death toll doesn't show the cost. It's just a political football that the press loves to pass around. They don't care a fig about anyone of those numbers. Because that's all they are to them. NUMBERS.
