Tonight's YouServed Radio Show
September 4th, 2008 by Admin
Tonight, I'm gonna rail a little about what I saw as differences in the political conventions the past two weeks. I also want to share a distressing story with you about our military medical care and explain why this country does NOT need/should not want socialized medical care.
I had to do some rearranging of guests. Retired Marine Corps Major General Fred Haynes is at the Republican National Convention this week and instead of airing a recorded interview, we rescheduled for him to come on live during our September 11th show next week. In his place, I've moved Mrs. Janis Galatas from that show to tonight to discuss her book, "A Soldier's Courage", and get an update on how her husband is recovering from his war wounds. Norris Galatas is a National Guard Soldier who was seriously injured in Iraq and is still undergoing surgeries from it. You won't want to miss this interview and call in with your own questions.
My second guest will be Bryan, from A Major's Perspective military blog. He was recently highlighted on the You Served milblog. He is also this week's Milblog of the Week, which will be our first one.
The show kicks off tonight at 1800 (6pm) CST and will last a full 90 minutes live. We've also got the VA Minute
