Congratulations President-Elect Barack Hussein Obama
November 4th, 2008 by Admin
I'll admit, I had hoped that I never would have to say those words. It's no secret that I believe that Senator Obama was the worst of our crappy choices for President this year. I stand by that belief. However, I will not treat him with the same disrespect and overt contempt that the Democrats and others have given to President Bush during the past eight years – especially the past two!
The fact of the matter is that whether we like it or not, Barack Hussein Obama will be this nation's 44th President of the United States. Like Bush before him, he deserves the respect that the office commands. The fact that Obama has won an office that only 43 people before him have ever held is an achievement that we must recognize.
Ladies and gentlemen, many of us feel very strongly about the worthiness of this choice of President. I urge each of you to please set aside those feelings and support our next President. He deserves our daily prayers just as Bush did. We need to show the liberals in this country how a President we don't agree with deserves to be treated.
In the military, we often find ourselves led by people we do not personally respect or admire. We often wonder how such people even made it through promotion boards, much less into positions of authority. However, we set aside those feelings and pay honor and respect to the fact that those people rose to their current positions. We respect the position. Likewise, we owe our President, regardless of who he is, our utmost support and confidence. If Obama is going to succeed, he is going to succeed because of us. If Obama is going to fail, it should be in spite of our best efforts to help him succeed.
President Bush was an awesome President. He had a very difficult two terms and accomplished a lot despite the fact that so many in Congress and this country fought him every step of the way. He was disrespected like no other President in history has ever been disrespected. He alone is responsible for the fact that millions of Iraqis and Afghanis are free from the tyranny and murderous regimes of Saddam Hussein and the Taliban.
President Bush oversaw the greatest gains in the stock market than in history. He helped a distraught nation get through the pain and suffering of a terrible terrorist attack on US soil. He took the fight to the enemy, lowered taxes on millions of Americans, and spread democracy to sections of the world that never thought they'd see the day. I want to thank him for his service to this country. I was honored to serve under him as a Soldier. He brought honor to the office that had been soiled (at times, literally) with scandal and dishonor.
Like John McCain, I call on all Americans to not despair on our present difficulties but believe in the promise of America. Let's bring this country together – not because Barack Obama was the man to do it, but because we Conservatives are gracious losers. We're better than those who have done nothing but set up roadblocks for the past eight years. Now, I need to get off the computer and hit the sack. I need to be up early and get to the gun shop before they are forced out of business and outlawed.

We will be good CJ although I love your comment about the gun shop! Hee! Hee!
Heh, I don't think that was said in jest, Donna, I take CJ at his word.
Thank you, CJ!
I want to support him, I really do. But I have to admit that I am a little worried right now.
I pray that I am wrong about an Obama presidency, but I don't think I will be. I will also say there is a difference between respecting someone and disrespecting someone. While I do not think I will openly disrespect him, I cannot respect him. He has not shown himself worthy of my respect, regardless of the high office he bought today.
CJ,
You can always visit our new blog when you want to vent about Obama suckin.
obacalypse.blogspot.com/
I hope things go well, but history has shown that people bringing about "great changes" with a population wrapped up in hero-worship is heading for serious trouble.
CJ,
You have faithfully served your country for the best years of your life. The same unfortunately, cannot be said for Obama. I wish your country all the best, and will pray for the people's survival in this coming 4 hard years of a BHO presidency.
I hope to visit the US someday, and I hope to God that by the time I go, a better man will be in office should your proud nation pull through like you always have.
"…I believe that Senator Obama was the worst of our crappy choices for President this year. I stand by that belief. However, I will not treat him with the same disrespect and overt contempt that the Democrats and others have given to President Bush during the past eight years…"
I agree completely.
Until he can demonstrate that he is not a thug, I will withhold my respect. You can revoke my privilege to post if you like, CJ.
Well said, CJ. Congrats to Obama.
Obama, for me was the last hope for America. All my blogs had a vote for Obama on it, and I am happy to say that I influenced more than 20,00,00 people around the world with a vote for Obama in their face.
Me living in India, what does it have to do, it has to do a lot. America all said and done has the pwoer to change the entire global scenario.
The entire scenario is chaotic at the moment, the stock market, poverty and war. Wars are fought for reasons like oil, if I need to belive anything good was done in Iraq I take the views of this Iraqi and thousands like them. in.youtube.co...=TTMp-YNaDdg
The entire country realized that there needed to be change and the masses that came out to vote made me feel that this time America has a chance to be the country it was meant to be.
God Bless America!!! and we are all one! Peace and love to all of you, waiting for the day we can all live together in harmony.
A short quote from MK Gandhi, There is enough for everyones need, but not everyones greed!
Clyde,
I come from Singapore, and I have to remind you, that the US was fundamental in ensuring my safety through the War on Terror. "Thousands"? Probably 1 or 2 AQ plants.
Now with BHO going to take office, any security gains will soon be lost, and thankfully, I have volunteered to serve for 6 years in my country's military to keep what ever is left safe. I pray to God that I will never be needed, but I have a terrible feeing about it.
CJ –
It is unfortunate that voices like yours are not the most prominent ones within the Republican party. As someone who has conservative fiscal leanings, a strong libertarian bent, and relatively liberal positions on social issues, I have found the most public face of the GOP repellent and offensive. The relentless attacks on patriotism/accusations of treason, the ugly fear-mongering and hypocrisy (especially on fiscal issues), the corruption and pandering to the worst aspects of human nature, have all made me unable to support the Republican party. I imagine that I would be a conservative voter, if only conservatism could be defined in a logically consistent and integrity-bound way. I am not sure that I could even articulate what the Republican party stands for anymore.
Your party stands on the brink of the wilderness. People like you, who have been pushed to the ideological sidelines in the wake of neoconservatism's mad grab for power, will be the ones who redefine the GOP, if it is to be redefined. If you manage to do it, I will be happy to support you.
Rick
I just realized that you guys dont know the name of your president.
Its not Barack Hussein Obama, but Barack Steve Obama, the Hussein was a Republican brain wash, its quite funny, I wonder what these guys have been telling you to make yall scared of him.
Clyde,
If it was false why did no one other YOU say so? Even BHO himself has not said anything against it.
One more thing, he is not MY president.
It is with great jubilation that Obama wins! There is no need for despair. The guy will bring about change, not only in your country, but also around the free world. We have to really wait and see.
If, in case, he proves to be an inadequate leader in the performance of his duties, democracy provides for ways to get him out of office. The US did it before with Nixon.
CJ, Thank you I am with you on this one. However, I will add that anyone who has never prayed before better start now. God help our country for we are going to need all the prayers that can be prayed. God Bless us all.
CJ,
Thanks for your comment on my blog. However, respect is earned. I will take my time making this determination. He has the majority of Americans behind him, they can respect him. I'll complain like hell, I voted.
Good for you to take the higher road.
Lucy
You are a true patriot and the consummate professional U.S. soldier, CJ. Good on you!
Yes, I'm not thrilled with the results of the election. But I will say "Thank GOD its over!!!"
I can respect what you have wrote, but I do believe it will take me time to except what has happened and who is our president elect. I can only hope our new president will help us and not hurt us. Respect is earned and I'm affraid he has a long way before he will earn my respect.
I'm thrilled at the result, more for the fact it didn't get down to background manuvers and ballot-box questioning, which permeated the last elections.
As Lucy said, respect is earned. I'll add that disrespect is earned as well and if Obama messes up, he will earn his disrespect, too.
God Bless the USA!
NY-David
Thanks for this post CJ. I read it before I went to bed last night and it had a calming affect on me as did Senator McCain's speech. We are proud Americans who always respect the office of the President. It is however quite sobering to realize the direction this country is heading. For those of us who stand firm on the ideals of the founding fathers, much prayer and hard work will be needed, but we are up to the task.
I swear, I just don't get it. "We conservatives are gracious losers." The man has not even been our President elect 10 hours and look at yourselve's bashing him. He has been called every racist name in the book. His name is blasted even in this small page as being with the number 1 enemy of the US and even the world. He is the scum of the earth to some of you right here. Why? He bought this presidency. The countries going to hell in a basked. I am going to start complaining right now. Listen to yourselve's! This man is the peoples choice to LEAD THIS COUNTRY. To the military he is Commander And Chief. To the non military he is THE LEADER OF THE Free World. He didn't get this far by being the idiot you are insinuating he is. He chose some of the best men and women in the country to defeat one of the biggest hero's this country has been exposed too since JFK. He has the respect of some of the best military leaders to the tune of having them go against the sitting president and that ladies and gentleman is a feat I think is just remarkable. Just think, a black man in America was able to outthink every whiteman and put a game plan in effect that even 61% of white American democrats voted for him. How many white republicans voted for him? I don't know that answer, lots I expect and the most powerfull to boot. The white money people, ie big business didn't give Govenor McCain enough money to win. What does that alone tell you? It was this mans time, he is the Tiger Woods of Golf, Micheal Jordon of basketball, Dale Earnheart of racing. He is rumored to keep Gates on so the progress and security we have made in Iraq and Afghanistan will not be comprimised. He is going to LEAD this country to prosperity and back to the Worlds Leader of freedom by Words not not guns, unless someone in the world thinks he is weak. He didn't get where he is by being weak. He is going to Lead this Country back to greatness despite you people already not giving him a chance to suceed! That is what leaders do…Lead! Of course, you have to get past the fact he is not your first choice or even the fact he is black. He has given hope to millions and millions that yes, in America you can get to the top of the mountain and yes, no matter what color, what political side of the isle you are on, you can dream and if you are for real and the the real deal, you can achieve greatness! We have just witnessed the graetest feat in American History. How about embrasing him just 24 hours just because he did it! That is the American way, that is why we are the greatest country in the world and why everyone else in the world want to be just like us! Give him a chance! Please!
Minor quibble; that would be an office that only 42 people have held before him, not 43. One President, Grover Cleveland, was elected to two discontinuous terms and is considered both the 22nd and the 24th president.
Classy. Very classy. You done us proud.
It amazes me how all of you can say the things you have said. It shows the lack of intelligence and the self-hate most of you have that has led this country into the ground over the last 8 years. President Elect Obama, hasn't begun to serve as our president and you all have already made him out to be unsuccessful. Obviously it doesn't take a rocket scientist to be president or George Bush wouldn't have been able to get the job himself. To say that Barack Obama bought this election is an insult. He ran for office just like others have before him. Don't be upset because he was successful at it. Remember, the American people voted Obama in; black, white, asian, hispanic alike. Don't be mad at him, be mad at your fellow Americans if you want to be upset with someone. Instead of being upset, try figuring out what you all can do as individuals to move our country in another direction. Grow up!!! Lastly, johnston45, "until he can prove that he's not a thug"; be for real! This is an intelligent, educated, man (not just a black man)who has never expressed himself with anything but respect, dignity, humility, and honor. Leave your trailer park for a day and go to a library where you can do your research about who Obama really is.
Boy, I'm really, really liking Uncle Chris!

The Thunder Run has linked to this post in the – Web Reconnaissance for 11/05/2008 A short recon of what%u2019s out there that might draw your attention, updated throughout the day…so check back often.
thank you David, ride on virginia! Even though I read and reread my words of wisdom before I pushed the submit button I made some mistakes and readily admit I am not a perfect individual in any way shape or form. If there were any man alive that I would not want to make a mistake on, or not give him his due respect, it would be John McCain. I called him Governor instead of Senator. While I didn't vote for him he has my highest respect. I am hoping the President elect can find a place in his administration for him. I think he is just man enough to offer him a job! We will see.
I could not say it better then Steve Den Besta at chizumatic
"I think Obama is going to turn out to be the worst president since Carter, and for the same reason: good intentions do not guarantee good results. Idealists often stub their toes on the wayward rocks of reality, and fall on their faces. And the world doesn't respond to benign behavior benignly.
But there's another reason why: Obama has been hiding his light under a basket. A lot of people bought a pig in a poke today, and now they're going to find out what they bought. Obama isn't what most of them think he is. The intoxication of the cult will wear off, leaving a monumental hangover.
And four years from now they'll be older and much wiser."
I have said throughout this election that Obama is going to be this generations Jimmy Carter (the Worst President in my life time).
Glenn:
Where have you been the past eight years? Have you ever heard of a fellow by the name of George W. Bush?
Ref Chris: "'We conservatives are gracious losers.' The man has not even been our President elect 10 hours and look at yourselve's bashing him." The liberals surely weren't gracious losers. You notice when the Republican wins, it's all about court battles. When Democrats win, there are none.
"He didn't get this far by being the idiot you are insinuating he is." Neither did President Bush.
"Just think, a black man in America was able to outthink every whiteman and put a game plan in effect that even 61% of white American democrats voted for him." Does this mean we can get rid of affirmative action now too?
Now, to the rest of you I think you're missing the point of this post. Please, PLEASE do not treat Obama the way Bush was treated. If we stoop to that level, the next four years will be just as bad for the President AND THIS COUNTRY as the past eight. It does no one any good. I implore you to now give him a chance. You never know. Perhaps this election woke him up to the mistakes he made in the past. We won't know unless we give him a chance.
I just ask that, for me, you give him a chance. We don't have to stoop to the level of the idiots who have made Bush's life hell for eight years. He failed because he was thrown under the bus from day one. Let's not ruin this country further by throwing another president under the bus.
CJ, I think your post is right on the mark. As Americans, we should respect the office of the President, even if we can't (or don't) respect the man holding the office. There is a "classy" way to dissent, if dissent is necessary, and you've shown the way with this post.
CJ,
I posted this comment on Steve's blog, Dryflypolitics, and would like to share it here. You are right on my friend!
Great post!! I, like you feel much the same way being that I am against many of Obama%u2019s policies and ideas. I watched his acceptance speech this morning in Kuwait as I ate breakfast and I admit that I felt an overwhelming sense of pride for him and for our country. It is important that we as Americans stand behind him as the leader of this great nation, just as we would have done with McCain. We don%u2019t have to agree in order to support and respect the power, responsibility and burden that every President carries. I pray that he may accomplish great things over the next four years. I love this country!
Mitt 2012!!
Very well said CJ. By far Obama was not my choice for a President, but we must now live with him, for a minimum of the next 4 years. Prayers for our Country, and for our leaders.
Good job CJ..
I did not vote for him but will respect the position. I will also now be very concerned about the safety of our United States, which I haven't been for quite some time. I hope I'm wrong.
Sharon M
Well said CJ. The office of the Presidency commands respect. And I will respect the office. As I did when Clinton was in office, even though he never respected it, and as I did while Bush has been in office. It will be interesting in four years to see what promises have been kept, what improvements have been made, and how the world has been miraculously transformed by an Obama presidency as all you who sing his praises now would have us believe. I hope you are right. The thing I will pray the most though is that this country, now that you have all gotten your way, can finally heal and stop all the partisan hatred that has fomented over the last 8 years because the Democrats didn't get their way in 2000. I'm hoping that all the whining and foot stomping and childishness will stop now. I hope that there will be a lot of growing up in the next 4 years and that we as a nation can come together and work together again. The Democrats have complete control now. This is what you wanted to show all of us how wonderful you are and how great you are at your jobs. Prove it. God Bless Our Magnificent Country. God help us all.
I stand by my comment that Obama bought this election. In all honesty, this race shouldn't even have been close. The Electoral Map might look like a "mandate", but winning with 52% of the vote is still a very close race. Reagan was a landslide. Obama reneged on his promise to go the public financing route, which enabled him to spend $600 million dollars on his campaign. Tell me: when in the history of television-era presidential campaigns has a candidate ever before paid to run a 30-minute infomercial on 7 networks?
And, no amount of money on the Republican side could have made up for the "in-kind" contributions from the media: glowing coverage of The One, hack job coverage of McCain/Palin, and a refusal to do their job in reporting on Obama's questionable history and alliances. Journalism in America is dead.
So, yes, this election was, in part, bought.
sue:
I cannot remember if I told you how happy I am, along with the majority of Americans who also voted for Obama. Happy, happy, happy!!!
CJ~
Perfect and very well said, as usual!
Miss Ladybug I think you are preaching to the choir on that one. No one that voted for Obama will acknowledge what the media has done or become. It is no longer journalism.
Sorry, Sue. It goes both ways. Anyone who thinks that Fox is "Fair and Balanced" has a screw loose. The media has been a witting and unwitting accomplice during many war efforts. During the beginning of the Iraq war, if they did the hard questioning they were supposed to do, they were labled as "unpatriotic". As such, we were blessed with videos of children singing "God Bless the USA" and pictures of tractors running over Dixie Chick CD's.
Go figure.
NY-David
the media had nothing to do with this election. The Democrats had a plan to get every registered voter to regester more voters that hadn't voted before. That is what we learned from the GOP in the last election. Get the voters to the place they need to be to place their votes. You won the last election because you were very organised.this time, your party didn't have a clue what you wanted within your own party. We demo's went thru that two years after Clinton was elected and we took a shelacking in seats in both the House and the Senate! We went too far left and it cost us dearly. Then the President decided to stain a womans dress and spoil what was a great time to be living in the USA. End of the Clinton years and start of the Bush years. The media had every right to go banana's on Clinton. It wasn't a vast right conspiracy, it was an immoral man that just happened to hold the highest office in the USA. Bush bashing didn't start when he sent troops into Afganastan to chase down the terrorists that struck us here in America. Actually he was a hero and everyone loved him. The Bashing started when he wasn't exactly truthfull{for the sake of avoiding an argument I won't say the L word ok} stating why we invaded Iraq. Anybody that does not tell the truth is open game to the media. It was his stain if you will! You Republicans lost because McCain didn't have any organization within your own party. Your own party didn't know if they wanted to go to the center or far right. I read with amusement above that you only had "crappy" {your words not mine!}choices….lol the media didn't elect your nominations….you did! The ones in your party that were against the war went demo, and the ones who wanted you to go more right…just didn't vote at all! Between jumping ship or not voting at all cost you the election "and that my friend,"[crappy saying too... lol] is what cost you the election. The media didn't do it….you did it to yourself! thank you very much:}
How to get Uncle Chris a website to blog…
hm.
NY-David
David, Fox News is all we have. Give us a break. The liberal have ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN and just about every newspaper out there. I have no problems with Fox News being "biased" (in other words, representing the only dissenting voice from the "media at large".
Chris, the media ran this election. All the analysis and research is in and conclusive. Isn't it interesting that they'll run a 30-minute Obama ad, but some of these stations (NBC, CNBC, MSNBC) refused to run a pro-troop ad last year by Freedom's watch that was just 30 seconds? Oh, Freedom's Watch is a conservative organization featuring veterans and their families, that urge Congress and the public to continue supporting the troops and Iraq war. That's why! Who aired is? Fox News for one. The Bush bashing started the minute Al Gore lost the election.
And for the last time, I'm NOT a Republican. I'm a registered Libertarian!! I consider myself a Conservative first and foremost though.
Obama is NOT in control, GOD has always and will always be in control, I put my faith and trust in him alone!
I like uncle Chris 2
Seems to have his brains in place
While CJ talks about not grumbling about Obama winnin and complains abt all the media support he got lol.
CJ its not quite clear why you are a republican though. Hehe
sorry CJ…I'm not talking directly to you… although… I got to admit I do rather enjoy making you wiggle in your seat! So if you talk like a Republican, and vote like a Libertarian, does that make you a Relibertarian, or a Librublican? lol…It's a joke cj….it's a joke!
oh CJ I forgot to respond to your suggestion about why they ran Obama's add and not the other….BUCKS BABY….SHOW ME THE MONEY! I think I heard something like 4 million and I am sure you have the facts waiting for me! Money talks! And about Fox news I gotta tell you I hate the O'Reily factor simply because he asks a question, then rants and raves, hollers and screams so the guy CAN'T answer. Why invite someone on your show, ask a question, then not allow them to answer it acting like a screaming raving Idiot? MONEY! People watch that crap and it brings in the ratings which bring in the sponsers! MONEY,MONEY,MONEY….wish I had some left, I'd buy me a website and blog just for David:]
"David, Fox News is all we have."
Might I suggest checking out the AM dial on the radio, where the likes of Hannity, Rush and Grant attempt to give me entertainment as they cheerlead for the Right.
The Bush-bashing didn't begin until it was necessary, ie, when we lost faith with what he was doing, sadly.
NY-David
The only AM radio I listen to on a regular basis is Neal Boortz. I used to listen to Mark Levin, but he comes on too late here and it's a rerun anyway, so I only catch him when I'm on the east coast. I catch Limbaugh every now and then, but usually only when I'm traveling. Once Boortz is off, I turn on my iPod. Oh, and I listen to our local morning and evening guy.
Chris, websites are cheap. It's the webhosting cost that will kill you. I prefer the term "Conservaterian".
All right, I got CJ to loosen up! I like it! You do so many good things you need a break every once in ahwhile! Check out todays 11/6 local page in the Pensacola News Journal. You will see how our town is Honoring the Army! Oh and you might find a little humor on the opinion page with from the right: Mallard Fillmore, or get educated on the Religious Right with Cal Thomas as teacher. Be sure to see the Army Pelican though ok! Love you man!
"The Bush-bashing didn't begin until it was necessary, ie, when we lost faith with what he was doing, sadly."
You must be joking. It started on Election Night.
And NYDavid, I said nothing about any particular station. I did not praise any one in my statement, I pointed a collective finger. And if you don't believe there is more bias in the "news" than what is on Fox, then you need a serious reality check.
In honor of Sue, "Things that I've learned during the last election (or "reality checks").
.
CNN isn't the Clinton News Network, but it sure is close to it.
Fox is hardly Fair and Balanced
Perhaps Lou Dobbs speaks for me, but he needs to be more solution oriented.
When you squint, O'Reilly almost smiles.
I'm looking up the meaning of "Libertarian" and likeing it
Obama has a history of never doing anything half way. Up till he made Law Review, you had to be a Mayflower decendent.
Bush didn't accomplish anything that Cheney or George Sr. wasn't involved.
US Troops rule the day, even if their CIF is clueless, they still get the job done, especially if their name is Patreus.
Rosie really is an idiot.
When Palin steps away from her handlers, she's going to be awesome.
NY-David
as a naturalized us citizen (jamaican born)
and a us military veteran (us navy). I just want to congradulate president-elect sen. barack H. Obama D ILL. for his victory against sen McCain. I have love for both men McCain a war hero and former pow and pres. obama for his over coming adversity. Now lets put away the damn politics and unite under one flag and one nation. Gov Sarah Palin was in my opinion one of the most ignorant underinformed person that would be vice president of our country im glad to see her go back to alaska, perhaps she could smarten up and run in 2012 oh well just a thought.
It is an awesome achievement and Pres.-elect Obama is to be commended and congratulated for it. Let us all home for as successful, secure, and prosperous a term in office as his campaign was victorious.
And for those of us in government service, in or out of uniform, this is doubly and triply true. It is our sworn duty (and that's not just a figure of speech, as you know) to make that happen.
I've quoted you and linked to you here: consul-at-arm...t-elect.html
Marko, Sarah Palin might have been able to see Russia, but Obama believes we have 58 states in the union, which he visited all of. So, I'm not sure about your "most ignorant, underinformed" (and I believe the word you were looking for is "uninformed") qualifications, and he is the President Elect, not a VP candidate.
Sue … stop, just stop! Palin proved herself an idiot, over and over and over again. Palin lost, as she should have. The American people are finally waking from their deep, deep sleep. Get over it!
Just because Sarah Palin can see Russia from where she is in Alaska, does that qualify her for the VP job? I can sit in my back yard on Tuesday and Wednesday's and watch the Blue Angels practice and from the same chair at night I can see the moon…does that make me a VP choice for 2012? Just askin!
I spent two years at Ft. Bragg. Doesn't make me an expert in Post Civit War Reconstuctionism or how they got to be called "Tar Heels".
Palin definately has some potential, but she was thrown into the deep end of the pool. Obama doesn't believe in 58 states. Both candidates had been run ragged for the last two years, I'm suprised he knew his name.
NY-David
Just showing how Obama is the Messaih and can do no wrong and there's always an excuse for what a Dem does!! Ya'll just proved it.
Obama certainly isn't the Messiah, but boy, we needed a change!!
NY-David
Yay NY David
The world awaits change! Here across the oceans as well.
I hope Obama takes the jobs back from India, and stops the nuclear supply as well to india.
Cheers,
Clyde
Chris, just because Obama was a community organizer doesn't mean he can run a country either (or command a military). I'm just sayin'. I pray he's not a complete disaster and will support him when he becomes President, but he is not qualified. Skin color is not a qualification.
CJ:
Why are you hung up on "skin color"? I mean, why did you even bring that point up in the first place? It's as bad as my saying being a POW for five years is not a qualification. Both statements are correct, but both statements are equally irrelevant!
Clyde, nothing would make me happier than for you to get your wish of all US jobs being pulled from your country and returning home. That was the one smart thing that Obama had to say. But I'll go you one further. I hope that he pulls all US Aid dollars from your country since you think you don't need us, including all QUEST dollars that help fund the education of your people. We could then put that billion dollars into the US educational system. And then take India off the favored status for immigration and visas so that you can no longer take advantage of a US education, and live off a country that you clearly have such disdain for. But of course you didn't mind the 23 billion dollars a year that was being funneled into your country to grow your economy and help your people before Bush. That would have bought a lot of improvements in our country but we were too busy helping build yours. You talk big Clyde, but be careful what you wish for.
CF, being a POW for five years ISN'T a qualification, his numerous years of military service ARE, however. Oh, and his decades in the Senate. And his foreign policy experience. I wasn't the first one to bring up skin color, but I was the last. Obama is going to be president because of two things: his skin color and the media! Okay, three: he's a dazzling speaker and everyone fell for it.
