DEVELOPING: A gunman opened fire Monday at an army recruitment center in Little Rock, Ark., killing one army recruiter and seriously wounding another, FOX16.com reported.
A man in a black SUV drove to the recruitment office and began shooting at around 10:19 a.m., a spokesman with the Little Rock police department told FOX News.

I don't even know what to say. What the hell? Anyone else feel like our country has been totally sold out and this is what it comes to? Where the F is our commander in chief and fancy ass metro-curious style of __________(fill in the blank 'cause it sure is not leadership)_______________ now?
Damn. I'm pissed.
UGH!! Mary the answer to your question is that he and the Mrs are in NYC yuckin it up on our dime!! They had dinner in Greenwich village and went to see a play on Broadway. (It is said that he did pay for the dinner, but the flight there was over 24k and at our expense.) This only a couple weeks after they went to dinner on the taxpayers dime at some poshy poshy Georgetown restaurant. Hope they are having a blast as the country goes to hell in a hand cart.
Mary and Sue:
While this incident is disgusting and repulsive, your comments are both equally disgusting. One thing I find fascinating is how quickly so many folks like yourselves adopt the strategies you so abhorred for so long used by others. Indeed, I think you both may be suffering from ODS. Get help, quickly, because Obama will be around for some time.
CF, perhaps you can be more helpful to them. Where do you go for your BDS help? Maybe you can provide some recommendations.
CF:
Keep on typing, little man, you are amusing at times but very easy to blow off. I do appreciate one thing about you though…you do answer the constant question that rattles around in my mind these days which goes something like "what the…"
Anytime I find myself biting a knuckle or getting ready to collapse from the vapors whilst thinking "how did it come to this" …CF, you are always there for me with the answer. Thank you.
While your condescension is not unexpected I would have thought since you have been lecturing CJ ad nauseum about it that you would have stuffed it where the sun dont shine but please feel free to do so now. And just what was it about my statement that bothered you so much?? Is it that I provided the "critical facts" and said exactly where your messiah was while things are going to hell??
I didnt bash Obama nor did I call him "Chimpus" or "Dickus" or any other disrespectful name that you always use when referring to Bush. I simply stated a fact.
To paraphrase your very own words CF, just what is it about the truth that you find so difficult to digest??
Sorry, gang. But when you take shots at Obama, like suggesting he approves of shooting service persons (see comment by Mary below), then you open yourselves up to charges of ODS. As they say, "sauce for the goose, is sauce for the gander."
I love when CF says stuff like this. It just cracks me up considering his comments the past few years! I mean, I actually laugh out loud.
cj:
Do you agree with Mary? Do you think Obama approves of the shooting? Yes or no answer … do you agree with Mary? No? I didn't think so. You have far more respect for your chain of command to say something so utterly stupid and disrespectful.
No, I disagree with Mary. Unlike you, I know how to disagree with like-minded people. I'm not so shallow. I think the point Mary is making is that HIS Soldiers were killed by an Islamic extremist in this country and he had nothing to say about it. It's possible he doesn't even know, but I don't think he doesn't care.
See how easy that was to disagree with my own people. You should try it some time.
So far, he still hasn't released any official statement, however, he has said he is "shocked and deeply saddened" by the shootings according to New York daily news. Then I think he went back to his Starbucks latte or something.
I stand corrected: Obama has NOT made any public statement about this incident. The incident I referred to where Obama states he is "shocked and deeply saddened" refers to the shooting by the Soldier in Iraq who killed fellow Soldiers.
So, it's shocking and sad when a Soldier kills a Soldier, but not noteworthy enough to make a statement when an Islamic extremist kills a Soldier.
My apologies to Mary and CF for my inaccuracy. Do I still think Obama approves of the shooting? I still don't think he approves of it, but he has a funny way of expressing it. I think in CF's world that would qualify as a "misquote" since it's an "omission" on his part.
So sorry buster brown but I didnt suggest anything. I merely answered a question with facts. Did I misstate where Obama was at the time?? Or what he was doing at the time?? I don't think so. Seems to me the only one who constantly takes pot shots is you. What kind of sauce would you like with that??
sue:
While you are angry at the president for dining out, maybe you should refresh your memory with this little ditty:

CF let me explain something to you. The Commander in Chief of the US military has yet to issue either a condolence speech OR denounce the actions of this madman who KILLED US troops on US soil. The fact that I recognise this may suggest to you that I have ODS. So be it. The mood I am in, and the distress I feel at this latest event, REALLY makes me want to say something totally rude to you, but out of respect for CJ, I am controlling myself. I suggest you do likewise at least once in a while.
Prayers from here for all our troops and their families.
brat OUT.
Well said, brat, and you get us back to the issue here which is 1) American soldiers attacked on US soil and 2) since there is no evidence to the contrary you would think it is AOK with our Commander in Chief.
Yes. I am bothered by this. Really bothered. And I think it is a reasonable response.
Come to find out the shooter is a practicing Muslim and in a taped interview, after waiving Miranda, said that he did not like the way the military treated Muslims and some of the past genocides. He was also under investigation at one point by the FBI after a trip to Yemen.
Also, both victims were PVTs that were home on hometown recruiting. For those that have not been in the military, after a soldier completes his training they are offered they opportunity to spend time at home and perform a recruiting duty for a couple of weeks. As long as the soldier did not have any issues with training, one being flagged on something administrative or disciplinary. These were new soldiers, that just came home to talk to their friends and family about the new and exciting career that they were starting.
Update: The shooter pleaded not guilty. He is being charged with one count of capital murder and 16 of acts of terrorism. The acts of terrorism are from him shooting into an occupied building.
May justice be swift for these two young (23 and 18) soldiers.
Geez Louise, you all get the prize. He denounced it already. Bush took fifty million trips to Crawford on the public's dime and no one said a word. I'm liking the fact that his priorities are for his family.
NY-David
Agreed!
David, this is good news. I have not seen Obama's statement on this incident…I assume that is what you mean…could you tell me where to find text of it? That would be most helpful and comforting.
David, you wording was incorrect it should have been he will denounce it as his statement came out on June 3rd and your post was June 2nd.
