CJ Get Your Hands Off My PTSD

October 7th, 2009 by CJ

You know, this country is in bad shape if the quality of some of our educators is any indicator. As you know, I've been battling my kids' school on their new uniform policy. My issue is simple: parents must be involved in any important decision like this. If parents are going to bear the cost of uniforms, they deserve and have the right to be consulted. What they don't deserve is to be disrespected and their personal lives violated!

I have had it with this school administration. Today, they had the audacity to contact someone within military channels telling them that my actions were threatening to them. They claim that they don't feel safe with me around and have demanded security be present any time I'm at the school. They are seeking an injunction against me from the school. And to top it all off, they mentioned the fact that I have PTSD, which makes me unstable!

Since I know that you spineless bastards in the school system are reading this, be prepared for a lawsuit! You were way out of line in bringing my personal life and my struggles with PTSD into a dispute with the school on the uniform policy. UNIFORM POLICY, FOLKS!! Where do you get off contacting the military about a private citizen matter? If I worked for Wal-Mart, would you have called the management there? If I were a REAL threat to anyone at that meeting, you should have called the police, not the military.

I have no doubt that the Army is serious about confronting PTSD and removing the stigma. What I now have doubts about is whether the public is ready to remove the stigma! Is the public going to instantly resort to the "look, he has PTSD" argument every time a veteran asserts himself/herself? Is the public going to stigmatize us for the rest of our lives and place us under the impossible microscope of perfection forever!?

The ignorance displayed in this irrational act of desperation is concerning. The individuals responsible for making these baseless claims don't know the first thing about PTSD. And even if they were the most competent medical authority on the issue, they don't know about my specific case!

Where do I go from here? Obviously, it's not safe to go public about my fight against PTSD. The military gets it, but so-called "educated" people responsible for our kids' safety and learning for 6-8 hours each day don't. I will not allow my reputation to brought into question and ruined by the childishness of a few "professionals" within the education system. It was COMPLETELY shameful! Completely!

I've already spoken with everyone up the chain of the school system. I've made it clear that I am NOT happy at the way I have been treated and my kids singled out. I don't appreciate a faculty that denigrates parents in front of students in the classroom. I don't appreciate my kids being pulled out of their classroom by some mysterious person asking them questions about "that man" at the last meeting. I don't appreciate certain people ignoring my requests for a meeting and then making up some story about why they're afraid to meet with me without security. Bring security. Bring all the security you need to make you feel safe. Doesn't matter, because my intentions were never threatening or violent.

Tomorrow morning, I'm meeting with a lawyer to discuss my options. If my career is affected in ANY way or someone attempts to modify my role as a parent in military channels, I WILL file a lawsuit. I fully expect an apology to ME and my commander who has better things to do that chase down baseless claims against me. Am I angry? Hell, yes! Am I dangerous? Only if you're the Taliban. My biggest weapon is my brain.

    • One of my kids go to an LAUSD school. I would be pulling my hair out, but for the fact he attends a charter school. We were caught in between a rock and hard spot. We wanted to send him to a private school because of the substandard results coming out of LAUSD but private schools only want the "easy kids." My son is autistic. This little charter school has been a God-send. It only has 200 students and the teachers are the best.

  2. LL says:

Shameful and cowardly. CJ, keep fighting the good fight because you are speaking for many parents who are too scared and intimidated by these thug tactics to stand up for their rights. As a parent of kids in that school district, you have EVERY RIGHT to be heard. You and all the other parents who just need someone to help them navigate the bullsh*t and to take the heat so that they can express their opinion that affects their households and budgets and bottom line!!

  3. We fully support you, if you need anything let us know. From a Vet with PTSD let me thank you for your service and your courage. We should never be singled out for any reason other than support. I like your style. And I will definitely be following this story!

  4. Holy fuck, CJ. That is absolutely shameful and obscene. I respect whatever choice you choose to make in this matter, but let me know if you want the fucking cavalry coming in and calling this school nonstop letting them know what veterans and soldiers think about them targeting a soldier and a veteran for his service and consequences of service just because you disagree with a policy!!!!

  5. HomefrontSix says:

I am speechless. Absolutely speechless. The fact that someone would stoop that low – and do so in such an uninformed and uneducated manner is mind-boggling to me.

CJ – I hope you get what you deserve: an apology to both you and your commander. And to your children and the rest of the parents in your community. Seems like your school district is way out of line on a variety of levels.

You just recently met with someone at the district, didn't you? Did THEY feel threatened by you? I doubt it. Good luck, CJ. I'm praying for you.

  6. Nixon says:

Don't worry CJ, we got your back!

  7. JessDawn says:

CJ, just fight the good fight. We all know they are grasping at straws to make excuses for themselves.

  8. Docile Jim Brady 09-10-08-Th-T0649 -0400 says:

CJ: "My biggest weapon is my brain."

Love it. I worry when folks do NOT speak up, yet quietly plot inappropriate use of a 12 gauge.

PS: Get extra business cards from your attorney, so your kids can hand them to curios who want ro question them. Attorney fee on the curious $$$, not yours.

  9. Terri says:

I am completely and utterly disgusted and enraged! How dare they! They are definitely grasping at straws here. Having seen you in many different situations, I know that you always conduct yourself in a manner that would not reflect anything negative on the uniform you were daily, the US Army or the United States. They're afraid, because YOU'RE RIGHT and they're wrong. And you've got the cahones to stand up to them and demand that they listen to you and the other parents. I can guarantee you, if my children were still in school and were attending there, I'd be right there beside you and probably just as loud and demanding about my rights and my childrens right. They should be glad that you're a parent that gives a damn about the education of their children.

I agree with the legal action, probably the best way to go. How disrespectful, disgusting and unprofessional of them. The whole lot needs to be seeking new employment elsewhere.

  10. Terri says:

Also CJ, as Army Sergeant said, if you need phone calls made and emails sent, just let me know. I'll be there and won't let up.

  11. Carol Steward says:

CJ we are behind you 100%..let us know if there is ANYTHING we can do. I am in total shock about the whole incident. They have got to be Obamanites for sure and to single out your children!!!! OMG That is unbeliveable! All you are doing is asking to have your input along with the other parents pertaining to school uniforms. My Gosh you would think you were asking for the world. Don't let them get you down. You are doing the right thing and do get your lawyer involved. If they want to fight dirty; let the mud fly!!! Press on CJ!!! We love you.

  12. yankeemom says:

Appalling doesn't even begin to describe this BS!!
You know where to find us if you need backup.

Ending comment as I have nothing further to say that can be printed here out of respect for CJ.

  13. Sara Wallace says:

Hey CJ, let me know if there's anything you need, emails, phone calls, threatening letters made from pieces of newspaper ;-) … No, that's seriously BS and you are only doing the right thing. As a fellow vet, i know I can go off on an asshole recruiter at the bar and keep that separate from dealing with shit at my kid's school. Its heinous they would stoop that low; just wanted you to know a lot of us are behind you on this one.

  14. Wendy says:

My daughter and her husband are fighting the same war with the school – but it is over their's son's education. My son in law just received a 90% disability from the Army for PTSD – my grandson has PTSS. The school insists that he must be medicated – medicated for WHAT??? PTSS? And since when did the teacher and the social worker become medical doctors. His psychariast says there is no medication for PTSS, but if they would work with him on a behavior modification plan, which made great improvements over the summer, he will do much better. They say they don't have "time" to treat him any different than any other child… and they say that his father is causing too much trouble coming to the school because of his PTSD and want only my daughter to attend meetings (thinking that getting "him" out of the picture, she will do what they want..). The teacher sent a nasty note that my daughter and son in law didn't know what their responsibilities were as parents because they wouldn't medicate their son. They sent a copy of the letter to the school principle, the school board and the superintendent of schools – registered mail… Now we will see what happens…
I'm sorry this is happening to you also. I don't know where they get off contacting the military – I know as a civilian they would have NEVER contacted my supervisor about a private school issue!!

  15. Kate Kashman says:

Another 2 cents of support. I am so disappointed that they've chosen the childish route of bringing your kids into this. I would expect adults to behave better. They've chosen to escalate this issue and now they'll have to deal with the unpleasantness of it.

    We're behind you.

  16. Lou says:

I have been a public school teacher and a parent. I know the battles. Either you go along with the system or you fight the biggest battle of your life and it last the entire time your kids are in school. I pulled my kids out of the battle, gave up my teacher salary (snort) and homeschooled my children. I caught a lot of flack about my decision – some people saying that we need to work together to change the school system. That may be true, but I was not willing to sacrifice my kids in the meantime. In this battle your kids are the most likely to be the wounded or killed. If you want to know more about how my kids turned out, just ask me. The public school system is the biggest failure of our government, but they have been propping it up with money long before they started propping up business. It is a socialist system. Either you buy into it or not.

  17. Krystal Roth says:

I just want to say that politics should have no bearing on this debate. Though I am sure Cj and I are on different sides of the aisle politically, we stand on the same side on this issue. That is the side of family and community involvement in our children's education. This stance is not political in nature, it is American in nature. We shouldn't let them get away with petty distractions that take away from the real issue at hand here. If we focus and stand united with pure intentions, we can not fail.

    • CJ says:

Krystal, that's very true. This isn't a political issue. This is an issue where parents are being ignored by the school system and the PTA.

  19. Guard Wife says:

    CJ,
I was glad to read the final paragraph of your post. It is unconscionable to me that someone would contact your command over something as trite as school uniforms & parents' desire to be involved with decisions affecting their school-aged children.

I would doubt very much that any charter or relationship with a public school could protect individuals from liability should defamation or some other civil wrong in your jurisdiction be present. I don't imagine that when the individual placed the phone call it was with the understanding that personal liability and loss could occur.

    I'm sorry this has happened.

  20. You have my full support, 24/7. Please don't hesitate to pick up the phone and call.

I wished that there was more to do than sit on the sidelines. If there is any action at all that I can take, please let me know.

I wonder if it would be worthwhile to have a protest or something. I'll spread the word at this week's Support the Troops Rally.

  21. Kat in GA says:

O.M.G. I'm positively floored, speechless, and enraged. How dare they??????????? You have our total and absolute support, CJ!

  22. emily says:

ok, guys, this has blown into very serious. those who want to help, call me at my home and i can explain.

  23. Ken says:

You have got to shitting me! Nail them to the wall brother!

  24. Donna says:

This is just awful! I can't imagine them attacking you like that over your wanting to speak your opinion on the subject of school uniforms! I thought this was a free country where we can speak our mind without being persecuted!

    Hang in there CJ!

  25. Renee says:

What an insult to your intelligence for the school to take this kind of action. Like the others have said, if you need support in any way, let us know. Our prayers are with you and your family CJ.

Keep us posted and don't give up…we know you wont.

  26. Kat in GA says:

Emily – not having your phone number, I can't call you to find out how to help. But pls. email me – I can sure send letters/emails/faxes/etc! My email is MamaKatOrr@yahoo.com

  27. ozy says:

I've heard that commenting on pending litigation in public is considered unwise. You may want to rethink this post.

That said, knock 'em dead (figuratively of course)!

  28. Fearless says:

Cj do not wait tyo sue the crap out of the school board, the staff at the school and Gov. Riley as he is technically over the board! Actually you might want to call Gov. Riley an d ask for an appointment and explain to him what the worthless pieces of human flesh called school administrators the public has to deal with. Years ago I had a problem with a state employee in Houston County until I had a belly full. I wrote to then Gov. James I got action and from then on if I went into that office the person would leave the office to keep from even seeing me. G D BLESS YOU AND YOURS.

  33. PleaseTell ItRight says:

you are only giving about 2/5 of the total story you are telling and even less of what actually happened….as i was there to witness your behavior for myself,on 2 incidents. there was no mention of you having PTSD that is something that was goinng around before i knew about it THROUGH people who were "on your side" (ONE PERSON) You are funny in a way. I saw you beating on the desk and turning red in the face as your children sat in witness and started to cry… I COULD NOT BELIVE you did this… its obvious what the real issue is here. by the way… I am a WHITE MALE EDUCATOR up until now i used to see CERTAIn issues you hacve talked about over the years the same as you…but after summer….i have felt you kinda go awry CJ….now you have totally opened my eyes..as i have actually seen that you are not truthful !!

    • CJ says:

I love how you include in here "White Male Educator." I'm curious as to why you included that. I'm also interested in what "your side" of the story is. I'm also curious how you state that you were at both meetings and yet state that only "one person" was on my side. As for the PTSD issue, you are ignorant. You have no idea what I've been dealing with outside of the school system. Your beloved principal – how would you "classify" her? – and PTA President took it upon themselves to come to this very website and bring my PTSD (a non-issue in this circumstance) into a school matter. Are you a racist, Mr. White Male Educator?

I'm a little concerned that you are responsible for educating my children. You have integrity issues and they are in blatant display right here. I understand what you're doing. You're a part of "the system." As such, you have to make me look bad. That's fine, you can do that. It's expected of people like you. And you have absolutely NO credibility when you hide behind a name.

You see, I'm willing to put my very career on the line for what I believe is right. Are you? I'm fighting this under my name and not using cowardly monikers to state my case. I've got complete video of the second meeting which includes more than just the now-password protected one I published on my personal Facebook page. As a respected [sic] educator, surely you can provide my readers here the other 3/5 of the story. We're all ears "WHITE MALE EDUCATOR". Let's hear it. I'm even willing to give you a login to this very site so you can tell the whole story unfiltered. Or you can just respond here on my blog.

      Your turn.

  34. PleaseTell ItRight says:

by the way… im sure you wont publish this…but who cares you see what i said…and you KNOW i am truthful about how you have MISINFORMED us all… thats not right !! by the way…im showing the video you have posted to us with the password on my blog site so that others will see what your commenst were and how u tried to manipulate things…that video did not show EVERYTHING….

    • CJ says:

Well, Mr. Hide-Behind-A-Fake-Name, please tell everyone here whose ears are wide open exactly what happened! You see, unlike Principal Williams, I have no problem publishing comments that don't agree with me. I'm a completely honest and open individual and can back up my side with three separate videos.

    • CJ says:

I don't believe you, PleaseTellItRight. You know why? Because you're IP address doesn't even register in Alabama! Unless you have a 6- to 8-hour commute every day to work, you may want to put up or shut up. I'm not going to allow you to spew lies without being called on it, so please defend your words and explain why you're commenting from out of state and saying you were present.

  35. brat says:

PleaseTell ItRight, put up or shut up! CXJ has given you an open invitation to share with us all exactly what YOU say went on. Have at it.

One thing I would remind YOU, and all readers is, that no matter any other issue, YOU educators/school workers etc etc ARE the parents' employees. PERIOD!

As such, the parents have every right to tell YOU what policies will or will not be in place in their childrens' schools.

And yes, I have been both sides of this one – first as a parent then as an employee. Maybe YOU and the admin in this school need to "go to the time out chairs and think about your behaviour. Come back when you have something relevant to share in a respectful manner."

So far you have proved you are not fit to be an "educator." Just sayin'. (Please also note, that I did NOT need to resort to name calling to make my point..lol)

Prayers for you and the family, CJ! Let me know when you need me to swing into action over here. WE have your back…

  36. Sherri says:

I have my own concerns about "PleaseTell ItRight". If this individual is what he claims to be, he needs to practice up on his language, spelling, and typing skills. What a horrid example of those who are teaching in that district, now we must all wonder if he is typical of all teachers there.

  37. sue05 says:

Oh Mr Please Tell It Right, Please do tell it right!! We are all waiting on pins and needles to hear your side of the story which YOU claim is more truthful than CJ. I have dealt with School Boards and Administrations and Teachers such as yourself. You, I'm sure are one of the ones who tells parents they arent doing their job as a parent because they disagree with you and because you don't know how to do YOUR job. Or maybe you are one of those teachers who thinks its right to humiliate students and harass them in the classroom because their parent disagreed with them. See Mr White Educator, I've dealt with the likes of you before. I know your kind. And I know CJ. And I would take his word over yours any day and ten times on Sunday. Its people like you who make put a black mark on the teaching profession and make me sick to think what is corrupting the minds of our youth.

As Brat Said, its time to PUT UP OR SHUT UP. You are so smart, lets see your proof. Show us in your self righteous indignation how much of a "liar" CJ is. Prove to us that he is not to be trusted. That is if you can. If you had all this proof, you would have furnished it. If you do have it, lets see it. Prove that YOU are not a liar. Cause from what I have seen of educators like you, YOU are the one who has a difficult time with the truth. Accusations aren't enough. Lets see the proof. CJ has backed up everything he has said. Now its your turn. Show us.

  38. The Sniper says:

This argument is going to pop up more and more as little emperors scurry for their fiefdoms. They'll throw PTSD in your face anytime they feel backed itno a corner because they know that their arguments are weak on their own and need a villain to justify their disproportionate response. They will try to tag you as a psycho (a few have tried with me so far) and a loose cannon with a hair trigger. Getting a lwayer and suing the argument out of them is the best course of action.

Anywho, if you need anything CJ, lemme know. I got your six.

  39. Ky Woman says:

    CJ,
Give 'em enough rope and they'll hang themselves…

But have to add that I'm another supporter of yours. Anything you need us to do, just holler.

Also have to agree with Brat, the writing of 'Please tell it right' leaves me shaking my head at the lack of eduction he exhibits. People like him certainly advocate the growing use of home schooling.

    Stay Strong CJ and Emily!!

  40. Carol Steward says:

PleaseTellItRight sounds like an uneducated fake to me. Sock it to em CJ!!!! We are behind you 1000%.

  41. brat says:

I chose to ignore his lack of basic grammar rules etc, since that was just toooooo easy…lol

Yep, let's see a blog link. That'll work.;)

  42. Terri says:

CJ, if Mr. PleaseTellItRight is indeed a white male educator, then I would suggest he return to school and learn how to spell. I sure as hell wouldn't want him educating my children!

You know that I'm behind you 100%, because unlike this person who chooses to hide behind a made up moniker, I DO know you personally and I know that you're an honest person who picks his battles wisely. I'm here for you CJ!

    • Isaac says:

I fully agree with you Terri, besides, he seems to have retreated into whatever libtard hell hole spawned him… For now.

  43. Steph says:

CJ, This is unfortunately the tactic of your typical coward when they find themselves in-the-wrong.
They obviously tried to pull a fast one on you all by pushing through the uniform issue without consulting the parents, and contrary to their own by-laws.
When you pulled them up on it, instead of admitting the mistake and taking a step back to rectify it by involving the parents in the decision-making, they only saw that someone was pointing out that they hadn't done their job properly. And having nothing concrete to back themselves up, they acted like typical cowards and attacked you with something completely off-topic to take the spotlight off of their own incompetence.
I watched the video and it was shocking behaviour…on THEIR part and the security were WAY out of line.
You showed nothing but level-headedness throughout…even when they so obviously antagonised you, you simply walked away.
As you know, I am not a parent, or an American, but if one more email of protest would help just say the word.
It is ridiculous that you simply wanting to have an open discussion on something that impacts you, your family, your children's education and your finances has turned into this. But they did that, not you, so hold your head up. They are SO way out of line to have contacted your Commander, and the fact that they questioned your children (???!!!)makes my blood boil.
As for 'Please Tell It Right'? Unfortunately the internet is full of trolls with nothing better to do. Obvioulsy some friend or family of one of the school administrators who thought they'd just stick their uninformed nose in. If it hadn't turned into such a serious matter 'PTR' would just be a lil ol sad sack.
SHAME on that school administration AND on that PTA lady in your video, who was frankly worse than useless…oh, and the Principal needs to be fired ASAP simply for admitting that she only picks, what was it? "like-minded" people to be on her advisory committee!!!!
I'm so sorry that you and your family are having to go through this BS!
I'm sending positive vibes and praying that this is resolved SOON.

  44. Krystal Roth says:

Did these people not count how many parents were at this meeting? I did. There were at least 25 parents on the "concerned" side. It was easy to count since she split us and did a roll call. She probably made a little mark next to every person there,so she can single out our children. In response to an email I sent to her, noting her unprofessional and offensive behavior. Quoting her response: "I disagree with you in regards to "offensive and unprofessional behavior" as do many of the other parents, teachers, the city councilman, PTA officials and others. My intent is not to offend anyone so it is unfortunate that you felt that way." Note, she doesn't acknowledge my concerns or apologize for offending me, and then has the audacity to TELL ME that other people were not offended, therefore, I could not be. That's all I can write without being offensive myself..

    • Krystal Roth says:

Also, she is speaking for the city councilman.. I wonder if he knows that she is speaking for him. I wrote him but have gotten no reply.

  45. Donna says:

    CJ,
I can't believe the audacity of this person and the school officials! Why are they so adamant about uniforms. Looks like they could be open minded enough to listen to your viewpoint as well as the other parents. You along with the other parents just want to be heard and weigh in since the parents do have to purchase uniforms and your children have to wear them.

I think it's awful when they go on the attack of one parent like they have you CJ!

I say to "Please Tell It Right", "Get Off of CJ's Back!!" He is one of our war heroes and if you want to pick a fight then pick on someone of your own caliber!

We are with you CJ all the way!! Prayers to you and to your family!!

  46. Dear School District,
Certainly someone there has stirred up a slurry of untruth and slime, because now you find yourselves in a position of being at the tale end of a big lawsuit. I imagine one or two person's discomfort, and their ability to fan flames with others who are less strong and determined have landed you in this controversy.

The reason? You've used his medical condition as a means of discrimination. Did you know this is against the law?

I for one will be happy to contribute monetarily to a suit, should the Grisham family decide to press one. I don't do this lightly, but I think you've crossed some very big lines and I have a feeling if you have done this once you will or have done this before.

  47. Dave Jenest says:

Hey CJ and Friends. I spent about an hour laying out a case here. That was to simply ask, WHY ARE YOU SURPRISED?

Thanks to our unstable power grid, it was lost. In a private email to CJ about the legal foundations I support and who have supported me in the past when I was under fire by the Communist that run every facet of our lives in California, I pointed out what cases they are handling:
    _________________________________________
Most cases involve school administrators, planned parenthood and departments of education all over the nation for covering up rape of students by adults, arranging abortions without parental knowledge or consent or reporting sexual abuse to law enforcement as required by law.

Just below the above on the offense scale, is indoctrination of children for a litany of “progressive” and “Communistic” propaganda, attacking our founders, anything having to do with God and forcing the gay agenda on minors.

My dear friend… Americans have become the nation of cowards, fearful of speaking out lest they be branded with some label invented by the left to keep us silent. You’ve been branded more than once. Be proud of that… but pick your battles with care. We need you around for the Big One.

Jeffrey R. Snyder had it right in 1993 when he wrote A Nation of Cowards. But his narrow focus on the right to bear arms need to be expanded to every facet of our lives today.
    ___________________________________________
YES… I used the "C" word! Decorated veteran Senator Joseph "Tail Gunner" McCarty was right. Edward R Morrow and the Hollywood crowd were wrong. Our nation of cowards fear being labeled "McCarthyist" more than the overthrow of our Republic.

I was a kid when Khrushchev said. "Your children will live under communism."

"You Americans are so gullible. No, you won't accept Communism outright; but we'll keep feeding you small doses of Socialism until you will finally wake up and find that you already have Communism. We won't have to fight you; we'll so weaken your economy, until you fall like overripe fruit into our hands."

On August 24, 1963, speaking in Yugoslavia Khrushchev quipped, "I once said, 'We will bury you,' and I got into trouble with it. Of course we will not bury you with a shovel. Your own working class will bury you," This message is a reference to the Marxist saying, "The proletariat is the undertaker of capitalism", based on the concluding statement in Chapter 1 of the Communist Manifesto.

Dear friends, I have been an anti-communist for over 50 years. Now we have avowed Communists in the White House and key staff and czars the look to Mao Tse-tung for guidance and inspiration. These same Communists are GOING TO OUR SCOOLS and picking up where "Operation Abolition" left off.

    I ask you all:

Do Communist run our schools? patriotwatch....a-Commie.htm

Have Communists taken control of our food supply? patriotwatch....4farmers.htm

    CJ –

I'm so sorry that you and your family are having to endure this. You guys deserve so much more than what is happening to you.

If you need any HELP .. let me know. My husband and I would be happy to help!

After hearing about all of this in the Huntsville school system (what a pathetic excuse for a school system it is ) and what I experienced here in CO Springs.. makes you really wonder what kind of education our kids getting from our public schools.

What no reply from "Please tell it right" How SHOCKING!! Stand firm CJ

  50. Bill Grisham says:

One thing to remember about Socialists, they do not want resistance and believe they have the "Best Plan" for your children's lives and will damn well shove it down your throats to prove it. Hitler and Stalin and Pol Pot never debated anybody because they did not care what you think or believe. They are plain out power grabbers and wielders and will work hard, lie hard and long to enforce their control system. The Prussian Education system which the USA began adopting in the 19th Century is designed to create subservient factory workers and soldiers for the State's grist mill. Fit in or be messed with! Until we abolish that kind of system and replace it with a Free Market system where contracts are upheld and you can fire a teacher or school for not doing the job they were hired to do, we are condemned to repeat the mistakes of the past. I trust a free people to do the right thing, but a controlled, manipulated public will do nothing except play democracy's control games. Remember Hitler played with democracy until he gained all the power he wanted then elections disappeared and the German people were trapped!

  51. CJ, see the coward has retreated for now, but if you press forward let me know as you will have my backing of what money I can, international publicity, and anything else I can do. My personal opinion is that they have crossed two major lines, one with your kids and one with your medical, and I do think federal cases can be made with each. Give 'em hell.

  52. Dave Dooling says:

In addition to your lawyer's business cards, give them a mantra to repeat along the lines of "Please identify yourself with an official ID card. I do not speak to strangers. All questioning must be in the presence of my parents and their attorney. Have a nice day."
